- Annual NCoGS Meetings
- The National Conference plans two types of meetings,
typically in October: biennial working retreats and biennial national
conferences. Conferences involve the entire membership and typically cover
multiple themes, while planning sessions involve the board of directors and
typically cover a single theme.
- Membership Directory
- The National Conference publishes a membership directory
that provides a way to compare and contrast the many types of summer
programs that are affiliates with NCoGS. An information form and summary may be
available online in the near future, so keep in touch!
- Email Distribution Lists
- To promote communication between people interested in
Governors' Schools, NCoGS maintains an active e-mail distribution
list.
- Employment Opportunities
- The National Conference acts as a clearinghouse for current
position openings in various affiliated programs. These may be
administrative, residential, instructional, or supervisory positions.
- Publications
- Regular publications are being developed, to be
topic-centered. Already available are conference abstracts and summaries,
and executive summaries of retreats. Review the Annual Meetings section for additional
details.
- Online Discussion Forum
- Open discussion forum offers members and interested parties
to discussion themes and topics related to governor's schools. Executive
committee members visit the forum periodically to answer questions that have
not been addressed.
