The NCoGS National Evaluation Project

The National Evaluation Project endeavors to collect data from Governor's Schools around the country (and, in the future, throughout the world) revealing the short-term and long-term impact of summer residential governor's schools.

The national project has two main components: an alumni evaluation and a director's report. Both are currently works-in-progress. The director's report is available online.  The alumni evaluation is expected to be completed during the 2002-2003 school year with online testing and distribution to occur shortly thereafter.

As a corollary to the two components above, NCoGS is collecting evaluation instruments and results already in use locally. These collections may prove useful for individuals and programs working to establish evaluation procedures and instruments; or to establish, reinstate, and maintain programs. Specific programs are not named to protect the integrity of the instrument results. All instruments and results are posted with the permission of the program directors; no information may be used without requesting the specific permission of the program director. Request permission through the NCoGS Web manager [webmaster@ncogs.org].
